I think I actually prefer this one over the revised edition with that slight blur you added. I love all the line work you did and I can see it better in this one.
great work. The ocean is certainly a world of undiscovered horror.
I believe all these creatures to be real.

Disgustingly beautiful. I love your organic line-flow and style of shading. That hard, triple-thick outline really makes the central figure pop out in a great way. Well done!

Thanks!I was going to go for a new look for me with very clean lines and stuff, but I chickened out.

I'm always trying to push how much detail I put into my drawings, but I always seem to let myself down,so I push myself on the next one.I'm glad it's paying off!

This reminds me of the inter-dimensional creatures that are only visible when the resonator from Lovecraft's "From Beyond" is operating. Beautiful work, simply beautiful, especially the mind-numbing detail.

I saw the edited one & understand why you blurred the background imagery, but I like all that flipping detail, so I faved this one. Yah! Excellent work.

niice :) love it, especially that weirdopus

I think you could really push your stuff if you worked more with values mate. just did a fast OP with the fuzzy brush only.. that's why it looks so .. blurgh.
if you do this stuff with crosshatching it would look way more badass. just a suggestion. OP: [link]
I'm just realizing, that the very highlight could be emphasized a bit more by clean white. whatever xD

Thanks man,Your absolutely right.Lighting and values are my weakpoint(REALLY bad at 'em). That's something I can totally go back and do as well.I'll dig it out of my folder and do some more work on it.Thanks for the pointer. :)

Awesome work! Great detail!

I'm curious do you sketch your work out before you do the ink or do you just go for it? :)

Thank you group overlord :P!

I used to not sketch out very much, but lately I've been drawing it all out roughly in pencil and then inking and erasing the sketch lines, then filling in detail with pencil. It's been working for me! :D

Lol! That's funny because lately I'm trying to get away from sketching and going straight to inking. :)

Still awesome work!

I still mess up all the time even after I've sketched it all out.I'm just trying to learn to be alot more patient drawing.I notice a huge differance in quality when I do.I don't try to finish anything in one sitting anymore.
